Academic Accomplishments
Dolph studied on various academic scholarships at Washington State University and Clemson University, and in 1982 he graduated from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm with a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering. That same year, he received a scholarship to complete his Masters Degree at the University of Sydney in Australia. In 1983 he was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship at Massachussets Institute of Technology. In New York City, shortly thereafter, he met drama coach Waffen Robertson and decided to take a crack at acting, concentrating -- of course -- on action movies.
